Updated the monthly traffic for the Port of Los Angeles, which new includes April 2020. A rather positive development as the traffic bounced back from the March lows. April 2020 figures stand at 7% lower than April 2019 figures. There is a definitive pandemic impact, but is the bounce-back simply deferred transactions that resumed as China was able to restart its manufacturing sector? Figures for May and June are going to be very revealing about the potential long term impacts of the COVID pandemic.
