Dewey of New York (left of St. Laurent). On the extreme left, Premier Leslie Frost of Ontario. This ceremony, held on August 10, 1954, marked the beginning of construction projects along the Seaway. The dam shown will eventually be called the Saunders-Moses Dam, which is located near Cornwall, Ontario.
