Container cranes, also known as portainers, require a high level of capital equipment, such as the above post-Panamax crane at the APM terminal (Maersk) at the port of New York (Newark facilities). It was manufactured by ZPMC (Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery Company), which is the world’s largest gantry crane supplier and accounts for about 60% of the world’s manufactured cranes.
